Michael Jackson DEAD
"Michael suffered a cardiac arrest earlier this afternoon at his Holmby Hills home and paramedics were unable to revive him. We're told when paramedics arrived Jackson had no pulse and they never got a pulse back. A source tells us Jackson was dead when paramedics arrived."
TMZ
"Paramedics were called to a home in the 100 block of Carolwood Drive off Sunset Boulevard. Jackson had rented the Bel-Air home for $100,000 a month. It was described as a French chateau estate built in 2002 with seven bedrooms, 13 bathrooms, 12 fireplaces and a theater.
The home is about 2 1/2 miles, about a six-minute drive, from UCLA Medical Center. An earlier version of this post incorrectly described the time to travel between the home and hospital as two minutes.]
The news comes as Jackson, 50, was attempting a comeback after years of tabloid headlines, most notably his trial and acquittal on child molestation charges.
In May, The Times reported that Jackson had rented the Bel-Air residence and was rehearsing for a series of 50 sold-out shows in London's O2 Arena. Jackson had won the backing of two billionaires to get the so-called "King of Pop" back on stage.
His backers envision the shows at AEG's O2 as an audition for a career rebirth that could ultimately encompass a three-year world tour, a new album, movies, a Graceland-like museum, musical revues in Las Vegas and Macau, and even a "Thriller" casino. Such a rebound could wipe out Jackson's massive debt."

i know that most of you must be torn up inside having just heard the news and witnessed the final collapse of the great American Pop climax. Even Farah Faucet, the great prelude to the Spears revolution lost the will to live yesterday and rose to heaven from whence she came, just to see the man moonwalk to paradise. But we must live on and we must never forget... Michael.
Let his death be a testament to the human ability to survive in the face of incredible odds armed only raw talent, passion and the five great senses to tip the scales of injustice for but moment. Reflect on genius without the bias of skepticism and disbelief; ye, that the machine is oiled, but were it not the artists of this place, the machine itself would not have been crafted... and there would never have been a thriller.
enjoy this moment of you-tube reflection and remember michael jackson this day as the vibrant and talented black boy that he was and always will be:

Indeed, that his passing ought to reflect the presence of a void we have blindly feigned to conceal with aesthetic appeal and boisterousness, in place of what might once have been philosophic yearning or expression. yes, Michael is gone and his life's work will not be amenable to truer expression or philosophy, but those for whom truth is not unattainable ought to seize such poignant evidence of the mortality today's so called kings to disseminate a broader message; with his passing we can start anew. In this regard, it seems only fitting that a precursor to what has become fashionable promiscuity, the lovely miss Faucet, should be buried near his perfectly plastic face.
is there merit in his works? was there merit when he was a black boy, brimming with talent and vitality enough to force the hips of his fans to shake uncontrollably, as Elvis might have done, or when he sought to make a comeback as 'plastic man', pre selling 750,000 tickets? I suggest his sacrifice - his life's work - is important, for there is one question i cannot help but wonder whether he was asking too: what have we become?

Even skeptics can't deny the sheer talent of the man!

As far as I can see, buckdog is the ultimate word on the truth of Michael jackson. The truth is Michael hadn't the slightest clue what was in store. . .
what a man! What an artist!
