One life and how many millions of dollars spent because of inadequate and sub-standard policing.
Such slipshod policing should never see the light of day. Sadly, there is a mother who is now observing the 2-year memorial of her son's passing.
Criminal.

I liked the CBC report with his mum and the airport improvements that resultd but.... there should be a placque or artpiece their to remember the event.

This tragic event broke my heart two years ago. Imagine the grief that Mr. Dziekanski's mother still feels. It's inconceivable to me.
As a Canadian I am proud that we don't murder criminals anymore. Now if we could just stop murdering innocent people.
My best thoughts to his family during this sad sad anniversary.

A sad and shameful nod to Robert's family and friends.
Oemissions - if there were a fund set up to provide for a remembrance of Mr. Dziekanski (at the place of his Mother's choosing), I bet many of us would contribute. It would at least be a way (albeit modest) of showing that some Canadians are truly sorry for the actions of our officials.

Omessions: I'll do what I can, do you have any ideas of how to proceed or how to get the word out?
Leftdog - sorry for using your post here to discus this, hope you don't mind.
