Canada's World Junior Hockey Team Put Through 'Boot Camp' At RCMP Training Depot In Regina
Readers of my blog know that I have been very critical of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police on a number of issues over the last year. However, I also believe that they should receive kudos when warranted.
Canada is about to host the 2010 World Junior Hockey Tournament - with games being played in Saskatoon and Regina between Christmas and New Years.
RCMP Training Depot in Regina is hosting this year's Canadian team for a team bonding 'boot camp' which will see the teenage players go through much of what a new recruit would experience. Players have been learning how to line up and march in parade just as a recruit would. The team is rooming in regular RCMP barracks quarters.
Here's a tip of the hat to the RCMP for contributing to this year's tournament by helping these young Canadian players learn a few extra things about 'team work'.

Can we send our Blue Dogs there?.... permanently?
