Canada's federal political scene just got more interesting with the election of Brian Topp as the new president of the federal New Democrats. Mr. Topp is the author of How We Almost Gave the Tories The Boot. He has been a strategist for the Federal New Democrats and served in key roles in Roy Romanow's administration in Saskatchewan. Brian is Executive Director of ACTRA Toronto and writes a regular blog at Globeandmail.com.

There is no one better in the party to be president (at this point in our history) than Brian Topp. He's from Quebec - fully bilingual - experienced in government - politically brilliant.
