You may wish to take a look at some of the comments Mr. Turner is getting on his blog site today - under the heading of 'Holy Smokes' - well over 100 responses and counting. It is amazing how NASTY some right wingers can be, even to their own (or until recently, their own).

What I find humorous about some of the con posts, is where some tell Garth that he is not a conservative because he is not a socCon, and never was, thus conflating socCon as a revisionist history. Is there anymore progressive tories left or have they (the Reform - Alliance - now CRAP party) purged the lot. So much for the forging of the progressive con party with the Alliance, where the one half got eliminated. Perhaps Garth might think about starting a new party - call it the progressive conservative party of Canada.
