Dunce Of The Week Award Goes To: Saskatchewan Party MLA - Dustin Duncan

Mr. Duncan put out a news release today demanding that the New Democratic Party pay the full cost of the provincial by-election that will result with the departure of MLA Joan Beatty FROM the NDP to run for the Liberals!
Duncan! Maybe your outrage should be focussed at Ms. Beatty or even the Liberal Party of Canada to pay the cost of a by-election .... but the NDP!? You can take partisanship a bit too far, and Mr. Duncan ... that is what you have done! As a result, you win the Buckdog Dunce of the Week Award! Enjoy!

I've got to say, I'm finding this trend from some calling things like by-elections and early elections a waste of taxpayer dollars very weird.
In democracies, people are allowed to vote for their representatives. The logistics of ensuring people can vote costs money, and I'd say it is money well spent.
(Sorry, for the previous deleted comment, had to do some corrections. Should have previewed.)

What's really sad is that Dustin Duncan is clearly writing his own press releases.
Maybe the NDP would be kind enough to foot the bill for a new communications consultant for him so we might be spared his overly verbose self-quotes.

If anybody should foot the bill put it on Beatty herself. If it is true she has been in talks about running federally for the Liberals and knew she very well might run she should have done the responsible thing and stayed out of the provincial election.

Oh, c'mon, people! The Sask New Democratic Party is the Sask New Liberal Party! They've actually gone that far right and it's time we started acknowledging it!
