A Canadian scientific team hopes to spend 90 days studying data sent back from Mars. The daily weather reports will include temperature, atmospheric pressure, cloud height, humidity and wind speeds.

That's better than all the egg that's on Harper?

Just FYI, in case you haven't seen it, the CSA site for Phoenix has a spot with daily weather updates from Mars. The most recent day is delayed by that communications glitch from yesterday, but they should have new data up soon, and updated daily eventually.
I love this whole story. Love getting weather updates from Mars; love that when we land something on Mars these days we can take pictures of the landing from orbit using one of our Martian Recon Satellites; love that we have Martian Recon Satellites!
I have much love for this story.

You may have already found this dog, but I thought I should also mention that the actual photo of the maple leaf on Mars is on the CSA's site too!
It's not the easiest to see, but if you turn your head to the left and look at it sideways, you can clearly see the Canada wordmark (of Canadarm fame) on the protective covering on the weather station.
Pretty cool, eh?
