Afghanistan - The New Democrats Have A Clear Policy ... What about the others!
The issue that most of the candidates are NOT talking about this campaign is the Canadian mission in Afghanistan. Let's change that ... let's get Canadians talking about what the Conservatives, Liberals and Greens are saying on the issue. Let's see where each Party stands.
Very clever video, and very true. Whoever came up with the 'Support Our Troops' is really smart, for he or she knew that patriotism is the best tool for stifling debate. I was thinking of revising the slogan. How does 'Support our troops by sending them off to be slaughtered for nothing' sound?

Noam ... this was one of the first posts I did on Conservative dishonesty on Afghanistan ... it is from April 2006 ... it was one of the first times that the Tories used their 'Support the troops' line ... and they have been effective with it, unfortunately.
