Nobody in his right mind would assault an MP on the hill or elsewhere.

It's the yahoos in the "provinces" that one has to worry about. Think along the lines of Wiebo Ludwig, or the recent gas-line bombings.

Nathan Cullen is a hard working NDP MP and he has done wonderful things for the House. People in the know appreciate his efforts and energies.

Back home in the "provinces" things are greatly different.

How do you know it is a Harper supporter?

Because:
1) There are Few Bloc supporters in BC who are angry at Cullen
2) New Dems are pretty much solid behind the coalition
3) Liberals in the area are generally committed to the coalition as well
4) The lying Conservative are acting like a pack of Italian Fascists of late and are so extreme and off the deep end as to deserve the contempt of sane, reasonable Canadians!

I am not saying it isn't true, but I don't know and your speculations do not prove anything. Destroying your own signs and blaming it on your enemies is an old trick. Maybe that happened here, maybe it did not. It's just speculation. Both sides have proven each is capable of dirty tricks. That I do know for a fact. I don't approve of these tactics either way.

If you had proof of who did this the police would have been contacted and the person or people responsible arrested. And bloody well they should be. Until then, it's speculation that seems to work in your interest, which makes this obviously suspicious.

I feel bad that the political party you obviously support, has members and supporters who are so extremist, that they are committing violent acts. I am sure that a peaceful person such as yourself is embarrassed by such tactics from your fellow Lying Conservatives.

Whoever did this is scum in my books. And yes, I am peaceful so any form of violence is abhorrent to me - but especially when it is to achieve a political goal. I don't care what party they claim to be with. Wrong is wrong.

You still have no proof of who did this. I would give anyone the courtesy of innocence until proof of guilt, regardless of my 'suspicions'. It's up to the police to investigate and to decide what motives are to be considered. I don't have any facts on this. You do not either.
