It is encouraging that George Bush's right wing friends see the insanity of a military attack on Iran. Whether the Americans themselves or the Israeli's conduct a preemptive military strike on Iran, the potential for a massive escalation of war in the Middle East becomes inevitable.
Nicolas Sarkozy's statement today should cause the White House to pause and examine the viability of any military attack on Iran, no matter how limited the plan may be.
...and in other news, this morning both Fox news and MSNBC are reporting French President Sarkozy is stating his willingness to invade Iran.
