I get the feeling, even in red state ND, that the democrats are going to win no matter who they nominate. The republicans are in real trouble. john mcCain said he wouldn't mind if troops were in Iraq for 100 years.

That's good news Graeme. All of my ND relatives hate the Republicans and I have heard the same message from them about their friends and neighbours. The Republicans are toast!
