So Liberals ... Did All Of Those Attacks On Layton And The New Democrats Advance Dion's Fortune One Iota?
As a blogging New Democrat, I take no comfort in having to say to 'some' (but not all) of my Liberal blogging colleagues ... did all of those attacks on Layton and the New Democrats help you folks? Did post after post after post trying to portray Layton as a 9/11 'denier' help Dion?

The only blood Cherniak drew was from his own party. All of that childish, smear by association crap led to exactly one party losing a candidate - his own.
Congratulations Jason, what an accomplishment for a hyper-partisan - we encourage you not to learn anything from it.
And think about how ridiculous it was for Dion to be urging New Democrats to vote Liberal over the last few days when considering all of the idiocy that Cherniak spawned and spouted in the weeks preceding?
I warned them for weeks but they refused to listen. So they deserve what they got.
By the way, are you watching the race in Edmonton-Strathcona? Jaffer's lead has shrunk from 10 points to 2 points over the last hour. Linda Duncan just might pull it off.
Nope, The Liberals attacking the NDP helped the Conservatives.
The NDP attacking the Liberals helped the Conservatives.
The only way Dion could ligitably encourage the NDP to vote Liberal is if he offered a coalition government. If he did he probably would have one this one.
The Conservatives just had to sit back and keep quiet to enjoy a victory.
