Canadian Troops Encounter HUGE Marijuana Fields In Afghanistan

I am not making this up.

Canadian Troops in Afghanistan have encountered HUGE marijuana fields with plants that tower over 10 feet tall! Military Intelligence claims that 'Taliban' forces use the fields as cover and as a convienient hiding place.

The southern part of Afghanistan has an ancient tradition of the commercial processing of marijuana into hashish. Attempts to destroy the fields by burning them is NOT working out too well!!!

It is a good place to hide. All and all the pot grown there is their livelyhood, much in the same as the poppy fields. Burning the fields is only going to piss them off more. I seem to recall a controversy over the poppy fields. Do we really want to go there again.

Is the growing of pot illegal in this country, if not, back off. Don't push your beliefs unto others. Besides, you just create more recruits for the other side.
